What you will do

• Gather and document business requirements for data discovery, policies, and process analysis.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to enhance and optimize existing data workflows.
• Develop reports and dashboards using SQL and visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems through validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Perform root cause analysis on complex data issues and optimize pipelines within Databricks.
• Utilize Azure DevOps to identify, track, and maintain team initiatives and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data operations, or business systems analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL, Databricks, and Azure-based data environments.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong skills in Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Must be based in the US to comply with company policies and HIPAA regulations.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python and experience with data ingestion mechanisms (APIs, SFTPs, JSON, Flat files).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including ticket tracking or CI/CD exposure.
• Background in healthcare, financial, or operations data.
• Understanding of data privacy and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.
