HSE Officer (Hydropower)

What you will do

• Ensure fulfillment of HSE requirements at construction sites in compliance with company standards and government regulations.
• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental plans and control measures (Job Safety Analysis).
• Conduct regular safety inspections and prepare weekly/monthly statistics reports.
• Investigate accidents and incidents using Root Cause Analysis to propose and verify effective corrections.
• Coordinate safety committees, first aid responders, and fire protection programs.
• Maintain and support internal and external audits for OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and COR programs.

Requirements

• Legal status to work in Canada is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE management on construction sites or in heavy industries.
• University degree in Health and Safety or an equivalent field.
• Knowledge of Provincial Construction Safety legislation.
• Experience operating within a unionized environment.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility with work schedules.
