Process Development Engineer (Plastic Welding)

What you will do

• Develop, industrialize, and stabilize production-related plastic welding technologies.
• Own process development activities across development, acquisition, industrialization, and series production.
• Guide component design, conduct feasibility studies and risk analyses, define process requirements, and validate processes.
• Support tooling development, establish parameter sets for new welding technologies, and evaluate engineering change requests.
• Develop process standards, equipment concepts, test procedures, validation plans, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with global working groups and drive plastic-welding maturity activities for North American projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Professional experience with plastic welding.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Knowledge of product integrity, customer-specific requirements, statistical tools, troubleshooting tools, and risk analysis.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
