What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day operation, administration, and monitoring of customer cloud environments and Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
• Own complex incidents, perform advanced troubleshooting, and serve as a senior escalation point for major outages.
• Plan and execute critical operational activities including provisioning, patching, and backup/recovery validation.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation to improve service consistency.
• Mentor Cloud Engineers and provide technical guidance on operational best practices.
• Implement and validate platform backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years in customer-facing IT infrastructure or cloud operations in production environments.
• Strong operational expertise in Azure, with the ability to lead complex administration activities.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting production OpenShift environments.
• Experience leading complex incidents and problem investigations in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux server operations and networking fundamentals.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Argo CD.
• Certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift, RHCSA, CKA/CKAD, or AWS/Azure certifications.
• Experience in managed services or consulting environments supporting enterprise customers.
