Senior DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes): Implement and manage cloud resources for scalable, secure SaaS application deployments with an accent on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability. What you will do

• Implement and manage Azure cloud resources for scalable, secure, performant SaaS deployments using IaC practices like Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, release to staging/production bi-monthly outside normal hours, and build observability with Grafana stack (Loki, Prometheus, Tempo).
• Identify, resolve platform/pipeline issues, participate in retrospectives, DR dry runs, and chaos engineering.
• Collaborate with security for vulnerability scanning/remediation (Trivy, Kubescape), network management (NGINX, service mesh), and compliance with security policies.
• Lead technical decisions, set standards, evaluate AI tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot), and champion automation-first approach to reduce toil.
• Engage with architects, developers, QA, SREs, and stakeholders in agile environment to translate requirements into infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with Azure (RBAC, Key Vault, VMs, VNETs, VPNs, NSGs, CLI, PowerShell, SQL, ADF)
• Kubernetes deployment/management (CLI, Helm), network (NGINX, service mesh), Azure Container Registry.
• Scripting/automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell), IaC (Terraform, Packer, Ansible), monitoring (Grafana stack).
• Load/performance testing, vulnerability management (Trivy/Kubescape), HA/DR strategies.
• Experience with AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, etc.); join on-call rotation (1 week in 4).
• Strong problem-solving, positive attitude, effective communication in agile/rapid development.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect or Kubernetes Certified Administrator certifications.
• Agentic AI patterns, secret management beyond Azure Key Vault, POS/kiosk hardware familiarity.
