What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable and secure infrastructure and tooling specifically for ML/AI pipelines and workloads.
• Develop clean, maintainable code and conduct peer code reviews.
• Write clear technical documentation and facilitate cross-team knowledge sharing.
• Prototype new technologies and evaluate technical feasibility of various design approaches.
• Collaborate with robotics teams to optimize frameworks for field use and improve developer velocity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Javascript, C#, or Go.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (self-hosted/managed), CNCF paradigms, and running GPU workloads.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible).
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience working in air-gapped or extremely strict security environments.
• Ability to mentor and grow other team members.
• Proven experience in collecting requirements from stakeholders and architecting software systems.
• Deep knowledge of SDLC best practices, including SCM and comprehensive testing.
