Lead DevOps Engineer (Cloud)

Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 Base + Bonus

What you will do

• Implement IaC practices using Ansible, Terraform, and Aria to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Create runbooks, scripts, and unit tests to eliminate manual labor on repetitive tasks.
• Author and maintain Puppet roles and profiles for Windows and Linux server configuration.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve existing workflows and drive cloud adoption and governance.
• Ensure the availability, security, and performance of the technology automation platform.

Requirements

• Must be based remotely in the US
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering role.
• Strong expertise in Puppet, Ansible, Chef, and Terraform.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting with Ruby, Java, Python, Bash, .NET, or PowerShell.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure networking, Kubernetes, and the ELK stack.

Nice to have

• Prior experience within the Data Center industry.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI, or SOX.
