Lead Solutions Engineer (Fintech)

Location: New York or San Francisco; hybrid

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 annually plus equity

What you will do

• Own the technical relationship with enterprise partners from pre-sales discovery through long-term delivery.
• Translate partner requirements into solution designs, implementation plans, and scalable card program architectures.
• Lead integration planning, troubleshooting, launch execution, and proactive technical communication.
• Work with Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap and align partner-facing features with customer needs.
• Automate and standardize partner delivery through improved tooling, documentation, and repeatable integration frameworks.
• Improve partner-facing implementation guides and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in solutions engineering, implementation engineering, sales engineering, or a similar technical client-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, frontend technologies, and mobile and web SDKs.
• Deep payments experience, including payment networks, PSPs, and payment product architecture.
• Understanding of frontend and backend development concepts.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and manage complex, multi-stakeholder implementations through completion.
• Proven experience improving processes through tooling and automation, with strong judgment and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with B2B2C partner implementations.
• Familiarity with data flows, identity and KYC concepts, or risk and compliance considerations in financial products.
• Experience using AI and LLM tools for technical workflows and automation.
• Experience working effectively in small, high-performing teams.
