Lead Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Lead Financial Analyst (Water Quality): Own full financial modeling for sales, programs, COGS, operating expenses, and NPD with full P&L and balance sheet ownership for the Moen U.S. Water Quality business. Focus on providing strategic decision support, leading forecasting and reporting processes, and driving NPD investment analytics including DCF modeling and scenario analysis.

Location: Deerfield, IL - Hybrid (Flexibility to work from home Mondays and Fridays)

Salary: $90,000 USD - $143,000 USD

What you will do

• Serve as primary finance partner to Water Quality General Manager and leadership team, providing strategic guidance for growth.
• Own income statement and balance sheet, managing forecasting, annual planning, monthly close, and 5-year outlook.
• Lead monthly forecast, AOP, and reporting with actionable insights and cross-functional alignment.
• Build financial models for NPD initiatives, including DCF, scenario analysis, and Stage Gate reviews.
• Drive process improvements in financial analytics, reporting, and margin optimization.
• Partner across functions and systems like SAP, Anaplan, and QuickBooks for forecasting and insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in finance/accounting (10+ preferred), including 2+ years commercial finance.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; working knowledge of SAP and Anaplan/EPBCS.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex data.
• Business acumen, problem-solving, and cross-functional partnership experience.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting high-growth or DTC businesses with CAC, LTV, ROAS metrics.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and Greenhouse systems.
• Willingness to embrace AI and new technologies.
