What you will do

• Source and sell Chinese Works of Art (CWOA) across Greater China, with a focus on Hong Kong and mainland China.
• Develop strategic sourcing and selling approaches for major CWOA collections in collaboration with global specialists.
• Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and developing relationships with existing and new clients.
• Provide expert valuations for insurance and catalogue production to the highest professional standards.
• Facilitate private treaty sales and deliver bespoke solutions to consignors within corporate governance.
• Collaborate with the Chairman of Asia and Creative Director to define business strategy for the China market.

Requirements

• Degree level or equivalent qualification.
• Proven expertise in Chinese Works of Art and a strong network of contacts within the CWOA market.
• In-depth knowledge of market trends, archives, and restoration techniques.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin is essential, including the ability to read and write Traditional Chinese.
• Ability to travel for sales, exhibitions, and client visits.
• Proven business acumen and experience in negotiation and business getting.
