What you will do

  • Lead, coach and develop a small team of risk specialists, setting priorities and fostering constructive challenge.
  • Own senior relationships with Multi-Asset CIOs and portfolio managers, providing independent risk perspectives to influence decisions.
  • Drive enhancements to risk capabilities and tooling including stress/scenario, factor, liquidity analytics and attribution in partnership with Engineering.
  • Deliver risk and performance insights for funds and mandates, leading review discussions with investment teams.
  • Oversee daily/weekly monitoring of key portfolio risks and ensure adherence to risk governance.
  • Provide decision-useful risk reporting to leadership on exposures and emerging themes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in buy-side risk management, ideally multi-asset strategies.
  • Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence through independent analysis.
  • Strong understanding of cross-asset dynamics, correlations, factor frameworks and portfolio construction.
  • Hands-on knowledge of risk/performance analytics (VaR, stress/scenario, tracking error, liquidity, attribution).
  • Experience in reporting for senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Proven leadership skills, quantitative/data skills, Python, and communication.
