Portfolio Associate (Asset Management)

Location: Westport, Connecticut, United States; onsite four days per week

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year, inclusive of a discretionary target bonus

What you will do

• Execute and oversee the systematized logic used to generate client portfolios and daily trades.
• Oversee processes that ingest market data and research views, apply portfolio construction logic and risk controls, and account for client-specific constraints.
• Manage the logic for selecting investment instruments and deliver required trades to the trading department.
• Partner with technologists and researchers to build new investment implementation systems and improve existing ones.
• Drive initiatives that improve system quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Communicate assessments and decisions with senior investment managers, traders, developers, and the broader investment community.

Requirements

• Four-year degree from an accredited undergraduate institution, with anticipated graduation in Spring/Summer 2027.
• Relevant internship experience at an investment bank or asset management firm.
• Analytical, highly logical, and structured approach to problem-solving.
• Deep interest in financial markets and systems-based problem-solving.
• High degree of personal responsibility and ownership.
• Ability to work onsite at the Westport, Connecticut campus four days per week.
