Senior SAP S/4HANA Application Manager (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Work-from-home options from Austria; flexible hours.

Salary: Minimum EUR 3,725.93 gross per month under the Austrian Banking Collective Agreement; the actual salary is determined individually.

What you will do

• Manage SAP S/4HANA applications end to end across run and change activities, with a focus on finance-related processes.
• Coordinate operational topics with SAP infrastructure, external vendors, business stakeholders, IT delivery, and auditors.
• Plan and coordinate releases, support packages, transports, cutovers, and hypercare activities.
• Ensure transparent communication during incidents and planned changes, perform root cause analyses, and drive sustainable solutions.
• Coordinate security topics, vulnerability fixes, penetration tests, and internal and external audit findings.
• Improve documentation, monitoring, operational processes, and cross-functional Finance & IT initiatives.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience in SAP application management, ideally with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA release and change management, incident, problem, and service management, security, audits, and user management.
• Solid knowledge of SAP Finance processes, including FI/CO or adjacent areas.
• Sound accounting knowledge, preferably in the banking industry.
• Ability to coordinate complex topics across multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent English skills required; German is an advantage.
