TL;DR
Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant (Automotive): Supporting and developing AVL's global SAP finance environment with an accent on FI/CO/PS customizing, change requests, and multinational finance processes. Focus on designing and implementing SAP solutions with customizing and ABAP, supporting IFRS and local GAAP requirements, and coordinating testing across international teams.
Location: Érd, Hungary, with home office possibility up to 60%

What you will do
- Provide third-level support for 's SAP finance systems, including processing incoming tickets.
- Process SAP Change Requests in the FI/CO area and gather requirements with business departments.
- Develop solution concepts and implement them through SAP customizing and basic ABAP programming.
- Support departments during testing and document implemented solutions.
- Collaborate with the SAP team in Érd and the joint team in Graz on international projects and rollouts.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.
- Strong SAP customizing knowledge in Finance, Controlling, and Project System functions.
- Basic ABAP knowledge, including debugging, user exits, and report programming.
- Several years of experience as an SAP FI/CO/PS consultant, in-house or external.
- Experience with SAP Finance processes, multinational environments, international rollouts, and the plant engineering or automotive industry.
- Strong accounting and controlling knowledge, including IFRS, results analysis, and local GAAP implementation; very good English required.
