TL;DR

Junior Loan Processor (Fintech): Supporting the Portland office in delivering mortgage disclosures and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations with an accent on TRID, RESPA, and TILA. Focus on coordinating third-party orders, reviewing loan applications for accuracy, and managing the loan pipeline efficiency.

Location: Supports the Portland, OR office; must operate within Pacific Standard Time (PST) working hours.

Salary: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Prepare and deliver Initial and Changed Circumstance Disclosures in compliance with TRID and investor guidelines.
  • Review loan applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with mortgage lending regulations.
  • Coordinate third-party orders, including title commitments, property surveys, and verifications of employment.
  • Maintain compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA, and HUD requirements.
  • Communicate with Loan Originators, borrowers, and vendors to obtain documentation and resolve issues.
  • Monitor pipeline workflow queues and accurately calculate simple income.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Encompass.
  • Knowledge of mortgage disclosures and compliance (TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA, Regulation B, Regulation Z).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills for high-volume pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based systems.
  • Ability to support the Portland, OR office and work in Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of residential mortgage experience.
  • Experience with DU/LP findings and agency guidelines.
