What you will do

• Track medical publishing trends, translate insights into portfolio strategies, and identify innovation opportunities in content delivery and clinical workflows.
• Lead identification, structuring, and scaling of society and institutional partnerships, including agreements and early-stage business development.
• Provide expert guidance on high-value partnership discussions and develop tools for evaluation, onboarding, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor STM and healthcare policy changes, assess impacts on operations, and drive workflow standardization across publishing teams.
• Shape AI strategy for editorial efficiency and content integrity, ensuring alignment with ethical standards and research compliance.
• Collaborate with publishing, editorial, product, legal, and operations teams to enable scalable decision-making.

Requirements

• Must be able to work hybrid (8 days/month) in Berlin, Germany; applicants may be required to appear onsite during recruitment.
• Significant experience in medical, clinical, or STM publishing (healthcare preferred).
• Expertise in publishing innovation, society partnerships, business development, or portfolio strategy.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare publishing policies, open access, funder mandates, and research integrity.
• Familiarity with AI and digital transformation in clinical information contexts.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and influence skills in matrixed organizations.
