What you will do

• Design and implement features to enhance the speed, reliability, and scalability of the hosting platform.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
• Monitor system health using metrics such as availability, latency, and capacity to resolve underlying issues.
• Optimize systems to eliminate bottlenecks and simplify architectural complexity.
• Improve monitoring and alerting systems to proactively prevent outages.
• Mentor team members through knowledge sharing, guidance, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in Europe.
• Strong Linux OS experience (3+ years).
• Proficiency with Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Programming or scripting skills in Python or Go.
• Experience managing and optimizing web servers, databases, and caching systems.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, and HTTP.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps practices and open-source contributions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools beyond GitHub Actions.
• Ability to read and understand Go and PHP code.
• RHCSA or RHCE certifications.
