What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end commissioning process for the Data Centre and associated Electrical Substation.
- Develop and manage the overall commissioning strategy, testing sequence, and systems integration approach.
- Oversee commissioning activities from Level 0 through Level 5, ensuring all systems are documented and closed out.
- Act as the primary interface between the Employer, General Contractor, vendors, and utility providers.
- Manage commissioning risk, issue resolution, and energisation planning using digital platforms like ACC and Cx Alloy.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures, including LOTO, permit-to-work systems, and arc flash safety.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience delivering mission-critical or hyperscale data centre commissioning projects.
- Proven experience managing Level 4 Functional Performance Testing and Level 5 Integrated Systems Testing.
- Expertise in utility substations, MV/HV energisation, and ring-fed electrical distribution systems.
- Strong understanding of LEED Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning processes.
- Fluent English required.
