Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer / Electrical Lead (Data Centres)

What you will do

• Lead electrical commissioning activities for LV, MV, UPS, generators, STS, and EPMS systems.
• Develop, review, and approve commissioning scripts and integrated testing procedures.
• Coordinate and witness Level 0 through Level 3 testing activities.
• Manage the execution of Level 4 Functional Performance Testing and Level 5 Integrated Systems Testing.
• Participate in energisation planning, switching coordination, and electrical safety management.
• Interface with vendors, utility providers, and design teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Degree or trade-qualified electrical engineering background.
• 7+ years of experience in commissioning within mission critical or hyperscale data centre environments.
• Expertise in commissioning MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and critical distribution infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safe systems of work, LOTO procedures, and permit systems.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• AP/SAP or equivalent electrical switching experience.
• Experience supporting LEED commissioning and energy performance verification.
• Experience using digital commissioning management systems and Common Data Environments.
• German language capability.
