Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States, except Hawaii)

Compensation: $150K - $224K

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend code in TypeScript to support 5 million users.
• Develop user-focused interfaces using React and React Native.
• Provide technical leadership and guide the team's overall technical direction.
• Mentor other engineers through regular pairing and code reviews.
• Collaborate with PM and design teams to define and build feature specifications.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience building fullstack applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose languages (JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go).
• Experience with modern UI frameworks and monitoring/metric tools.
• Ability to design and explain complex system architecture.
• Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js.
• Experience building production mobile applications in React Native.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
