What you will do

• Develop, customize, and support EDA tool flows for IC design including logic synthesis, physical design, and verification.
• Automate circuit and layout design methodologies to boost productivity and consistency.
• Collaborate with chip design teams to implement efficient CAD solutions based on their requirements.
• Debug and optimize design flows, evaluate new EDA tools, and integrate them.
• Develop scripts for new functionality and automate processes.
• Support foundry PDKs, technology files, and advanced nodes like TSMC N5/N3, Intel 18A.
• Provide documentation and training on CAD best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years managing and supporting CAD tools.
• Strong expertise in EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens, or similar.
• Scripting and automation with Python, Perl, batch, Cadence Skill, or TCL.
• Knowledge of VLSI design, digital/analog IC flows, physical design, DRC/LVS, place & route.
• Understanding of semiconductor processes and fabrication challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
