What you will do

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, serving as the primary point of contact and building long-term relationships.
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals and assistants on high-stakes client projects.
• Advise clients on complex transactions and tax issues, specifically focusing on REITs and flow-through entities.
• Oversee the financial performance and risk management of various professional engagements.
• Drive business development and market activities to enhance the firm's image and grow the practice.
• Participate in and create training content for the professional development of the team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and available for travel to clients and offices.
• 12+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 8 years specializing in real estate industry tax.
• Previous leadership experience (Partner, Principal, or Senior Manager) within a public accounting firm.
• Deep technical expertise in the taxation of REITs, Partnerships, and other flow-through entities.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; CPA license is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex financial data to stakeholders.
