Tax Manager

Salary: $135,000–$165,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead review of federal/state tax filings for partnerships, S corps, individuals, trusts, and estates, including multi-state returns.
• Oversee conversion of trial balances to tax workpapers and handle Schedule M adjustments.
• Conduct tax research on complex federal, state, local, sales/use tax, and international issues.
• Guide FBAR compliance and foreign account reporting.
• Collaborate on tax planning, entity structuring, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor junior staff, provide training and feedback, and support business development.

Requirements

• CPA designation required
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or related; Master’s in Taxation preferred
• 7+ years public accounting experience with staff management
• Strong knowledge of flow-through entities, individual taxation, multi-state, high-net-worth
• Proficiency in tax research tools (RIA Checkpoint, CCH) and software (UltraTax, ProSystem fx)
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple deadlines
