What you will do

• Perform analytical testing using instrumental and wet chemistry procedures, including pH meters and spectrophotometry.
• Conduct daily monitoring tests throughout the plant to ensure production parameters meet quality standards.
• Prepare and process samples for in-process and finished goods testing.
• Document and enter all test results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Provide prompt operational feedback and recommendations to plant operators to achieve target quality.
• Execute routine calibration and light maintenance on laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• 2-year Science degree (Chemistry, Biology, or related field) preferred or equivalent technical experience.
• Proven experience operating standard laboratory equipment (Spectrophotometers, pH meters, etc.).
• Strong mathematical skills for analytical testing calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and lab-specific software.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods in an industrial setting.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Valdosta, GA.
