Lab Technician I

TL;DR

Lab Technician I (Engineering): Conducting tests and experiments to support technical service and application development with an accent on data accuracy and laboratory safety. Focus on executing approved procedures, maintaining calibrated equipment, and documenting experimental results.

Location: On-site in Michigan Center, Michigan, USA. Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $18.95/hr

What you will do

• Conduct experiments, testing, and analyses according to approved procedures.
• Compile, analyze, and document results to support technical service, QC, and R&D projects.
• Maintain calibrated laboratory equipment and tools to ensure operational readiness.
• Ensure strict material identification, lot traceability, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned laboratory areas.
• Report hazards promptly and adhere to all site and company safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory, production, or R&D environment.
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain detailed records.
• Ability to perform light to moderate physical tasks and wear required PPE.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Coursework or experience in chemistry and/or mathematics.
• Experience with routine equipment calibration.
• Exposure to technical service or R&D laboratory environments.
