What you will do

• Design and engineer electrical systems for on-site power generation, high-voltage transmission, and large-scale battery energy storage (BESS).
• Develop single-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, and relay settings.
• Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, and transient stability using ETAP or PSS/E.
• Integrate electrical systems with generators, transmission infrastructure, and data center loads.
• Ensure compliance with NERC, ERCOT, IEEE, NEC, and other relevant standards.
• Conduct failure mode analysis (FMEA) and root cause investigations to achieve high uptime targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Memphis, TN.
• Ability to perform hands-on work in hazardous environments and wear appropriate PPE.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted.

Nice to have

• Experience with BESS, inverters/PCS, and BMS integration (NFPA 855).
• Expertise in high-voltage substations and grid interconnection (ERCOT).
• Background with gas turbine generators and islanded operation.
• Experience with hyperscale data centers or power infrastructure exceeding 50 MW.
