Senior Radiation Test Engineer

Base Salary $160,000 - $235,000 USD

What you will do

• Design fault tolerant electrical systems for radiation environments.
• Simulate and model GTO and GEO radiation environments.
• Coordinate and run radiation testing campaigns to upscreen components.
• Work with structures team to determine shielding levels across spacecraft.
• Integrate systems into spacecraft and support electrical design, bringup, and test activities.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring teammates.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent.
• Passion for hardware development in fast-paced environment with hands-on design.
• Experience with Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD).
• Experience designing for and testing radiation effects.
• Experience testing analog and digital circuits.
• Experience with high reliability systems.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card.

Nice to have

• Electromechanical design experience.
• Experience running tests at radiation labs.
• Experience designing dosimeter circuits.
• ECAD + MCAD experience (Altium, Solidworks).
