Compensation: $133,500 – $184,800 + Equity

What you will do

• Perform testing as a Test Conductor or Test Director to ensure procedures align with real-world execution.
• Partner with design engineers to develop innovative test methods for complex mechanisms and structures.
• Support iterative testing of fluid, electrical, and structural hardware for the Kaleidos reactor.
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes and data delivery quality.
• Ensure compliance with DOE and NRC standards in all procedural documentation.
• Support one-off test campaigns to drive hardware risk reduction in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time professional experience in engineering problem-solving, design, analysis, or testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
• Background in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, aerospace, aviation, or maritime.
• Strong technical fundamentals in fluids and thermodynamics.
• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
• Must be able to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with rocket engine or turbopump testing.
• Knowledge of instrumentation like pressure transducers, thermocouples, and accelerometers.
• Ability to interpret ASME standards and Boiler Codes.
• Proficiency with NX CAD, Teamcenter, and Beckhoff PLC Controllers.
