Salary: $185,000 - $218,000 USD (San Francisco, CA)

What you will do

• Solve complex problems and deliver high-quality backend solutions with full ownership from design to production.
• Collaborate with customers, product managers, design, and stakeholders to define, architect, and ship impactful features.
• Validate needs, build rapid MVPs, and deploy data-driven experiments.
• Develop performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code supporting significant platform scale.
• Monitor, triage, and resolve production issues for team-owned services.

Requirements

• 5+ years software development experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (or similar)
• Experience developing RESTful APIs
• Strong communication, documentation, and ownership skills
• Customer-centric mindset with bias for action and collaboration
