What you will do

• Foster technical strategy for growth systems that surface new communities and drive sustained engagement.
• Partner with engineering manager to instill growth engineering mindset emphasizing experimentation and iteration.
• Collaborate with teams on Relevance, Feeds, Search, and ML-powered surfaces to influence roadmaps.
• Establish instrumentation for A/B tests, analyze funnels and retention to inform architecture.
• Align cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data Science on feasibility and roadmaps.
• Lead on reliability, scalability, design reviews, and engineering excellence in high-scale systems.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience steering cross-team projects solving business problems.
• Systems thinker comfortable with growth-team ambiguity, data-informed decisions, and experimentation.
• Mentor who builds team culture and helps engineers level up.
• Clear communicator distilling technical trade-offs for any audience.
• Experience with ranking, recommendations, personalization, ML-heavy products, retrieval systems, and inference pipelines.
