Director, Sponsorship Strategy, Sports (Brand Consulting): Developing and leading data-driven sports sponsorship strategies to advise C-suite clients on asset mix and consumer touchpoints with an accent on insight-driven personas and measurement frameworks. Focus on creating overarching partnership visions, optimizing activation effectiveness, and defining ownable brand positioning within the sports ecosystem.
Location: Hybrid, located in our New York office
Salary: $144,000 – $180,000

What you will do
- Lead the development and delivery of data-grounded strategic visions for high-profile client assignments.
- Partner with Analytics teams to build insight-driven personas, segmentation models, and customer journeys.
- Create partnership portfolio analyses to identify strategic roles and ensure alignment with overarching brand goals.
- Design integrated activation strategies and campaign approaches across various media channels and touchpoints.
- Develop topline negotiation strategies for potential partnerships, outlining value exchange and priority assets.
- Collaborate across internal functions including Creative, Analytics, and Business Development to optimize team outputs.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in brand, integrated communications, or connections planning.
- Proven experience in the sports industry.
- Expertise in interpreting quantitative and qualitative consumer research to build client strategies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Statistics, or a similar discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience planning social media campaigns.
- Experience with go-to-market planning or ecosystem thinking for large-scale campaigns.
