IT Infrastructure Engineer, NA

Location: Onsite in Port Washington, Wisconsin, United States. Reliable transportation is required for shifts or emergencies. Travel is expected to be less than 20%.

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 annually plus bonus; the range is based on Colorado market data and may vary by location.

What you will do

• Act as the primary onsite IT infrastructure representative for deployment, implementation, and operational readiness activities across the Lighthouse campus.
• Coordinate with construction, operations, engineering, security, vendors, contractors, and customers to meet project schedules and readiness milestones.
• Support procurement, receiving, staging, inventory reconciliation, asset tracking, deployment scheduling, and lifecycle documentation.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, testing, validation, commissioning, and turnover of network, server, wireless, telecommunications, security, and building technology systems.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews, resolve deployment issues, and prepare status reports, readiness assessments, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical assistance and customer support while managing multiple ongoing or one-time infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, data center operations, systems administration, technology deployments, helpdesk operations, or related technical functions.
• Technical knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop, Active Directory, VMware vSphere/ESX, Office 365, firewalls, security, storage, backup technologies, and networking.
• Experience with infrastructure deployment projects, site installations, hardware deployments, operational readiness, vendor coordination, ticketing, service management, inventory, asset tracking, or procurement.
• Must work onsite in Port Washington, Wisconsin, with reliable transportation available for shifts or emergencies.
• Successful completion of a background check is required; CCNA or VCP certification is preferred.

• Experience working in critical facilities or critical infrastructure environments.
