What you will do

• Design and implement self-service tools for product teams to deploy services without manual provisioning.
• Build automation to eliminate repetitive operational toil.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and dashboards for proactive issue detection and easy debugging.
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to incidents and improving resilience.
• Scale infrastructure for capacity, performance optimization, and low-latency operations.
• Collaborate with security, product engineering, and SRE teams on platform solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years with distributed systems and microservices in production
• Strong AWS experience: EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, multi-AZ architectures
• Infrastructure as Code fluency with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Programming for automation in Go, Python, or similar
• Kubernetes multi-tenancy production experience
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent
• Incident response and on-call experience
• Security-minded: least-privilege, encryption, threat modeling

• GitOps with FluxCD and Kustomize
• Service mesh: Istio, Linkerd, Consul
• Cloud cost optimization
