TL;DR

Insights and Content Strategy Manager (Social Media/Gaming): Set the strategy for all social media and influencer content efforts based on performance insights, learnings, and iterative testing with an accent on attention mapping, real-time analytics, and global content calendar ownership across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook, and Twitch. Focus on translating data signals into actionable directions, running experiments on formats and hooks, leading post-mortems, and building systems for scalable content production.

Location: Hybrid position with preferred onsite collaboration 3-4 times a week in Chicago area (Chicago area candidates preferred)

What you will do

  • Own and evolve the global social content calendar aligned with campaigns, product launches, esports, and creator initiatives.
  • Build and maintain an attention map to prioritize content pillars based on performance.
  • Monitor daily metrics and translate insights into immediate actions like scaling winners or testing variants.
  • Run experiments, lead post-mortems, and create debriefs with prioritized changes.
  • Develop campaign briefs, posting plans, and partner strategically with directors across EMEA, APAC, and Americas.
  • Build systems, templates, and playbooks to accelerate team execution while ensuring compliance.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years in social media strategy, content planning, or digital marketing with analytics ownership, ideally in gaming or consumer tech.
  • Proficiency in social analytics tools like Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite.
  • Ability to turn data into content roadmaps, calendars, and test plans driving engagement.
  • Excellent communication to simplify insights for stakeholders and executives.
  • Strong project management, detail-oriented, with bias for speed and experimentation.
  • Deep knowledge of gaming culture, memes, and platforms; comfort guiding teams with data-backed direction.

Nice to have

  • Experience with content calendar tooling and asset management systems.
  • Background in gaming/tech brands, live events, sponsorships, or creator programs.
  • Strong storytelling with data to influence leaders.
