TL;DR

Premium Auditor (Hybrid) (Insurance): Examine financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers to ensure regulatory compliance and detect fraud with an accent on Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies. Focus on auditing policyholder records, applying manual rules, gathering data for classifications, and preparing audit documents.

Hybrid: based from home with required travel 2-4 days per week to audit locations within assigned territory. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance with bodily injury limits of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident required.

$44-$46 per billable hour (weekly pay).

What you will do

• Conduct premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing records and applying rules/standards.
• Prepare audits by identifying needed records and scheduling to optimize time.
• Correspond with insured via phone/email/mail to set up appointments.
• Examine records, determine business classifications, and write operations descriptions.
• Prepare audit documents, explain results to insured, and report to home office.
• Travel to multiple audit locations and perform remote audits 2-3 days per week.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent plus 2+ years premium auditing experience (or equivalent).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
• General PC knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong communication skills with customers and staff.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Maintain auto insurance with specified bodily injury limits.
