What you will do

• Lead design, development, and implementation of statistical techniques and AI/ML algorithms.
• Write clean, efficient code and apply best practices in data modeling and analysis.
• Research AI/ML applications, align efforts with development and government teams.
• Analyze system performance and time series data, generate visualizations and reports.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to implement algorithms and deliver insights.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate findings effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related; advanced degree or equivalent experience considered.
• At least 2 years in data science (advanced degree may substitute).
• Experience with system performance and time series data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), SQL, statistical analysis, forecasting, anomaly detection.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Grafana).
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• US Citizen with active or eligible for US national security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD models, ML algorithms (classification, regression, etc.), stream processing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka.
• Understanding of aerospace and defense industry.
