TL;DR

Data Scientist (Fintech): Own end-to-end analytical projects that influence product decisions, marketing campaigns, and executive strategy with an accent on statistical inference, experimentation design, and predictive modeling. Location: Hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week onsite in San Francisco or New York City. Open to candidates based in or willing to relocate to these locations.

What you will do

• Apply statistical inference, causal analysis, and experimentation to improve LTV/CAC and accelerate feedback loops
• Champion A/B testing by designing, analyzing, and interpreting experiments with cross-functional teams
• Build segmentation frameworks and predictive models for targeting, personalization, and lifecycle optimization
• Design agentic workflows to automate data science lifecycle including exploration, modeling, and experimentation
• Use LLMs and AI tools to reason about data, generate hypotheses, and build AI-driven monitoring systems
• Translate data into narratives influencing product, marketing, and strategy while owning projects end-to-end

Requirements

• 6+ years in data science, analytics, or related field, ideally at high-growth startup or fintech
• Graduate degree in statistics, engineering, science, finance, or similar
• Strong Python and SQL skills for transforming raw data and building custom datasets
• Analytical mindset with bias toward action, clear communication, and full-stack problem-solving
• Comfort owning projects end-to-end and collaborating cross-functionally

Nice to have

• Experience building or scaling experimentation infrastructure
• Experience with ML infra, dashboarding tools like Sigma or Looker
• Background in credit/lending, lifecycle marketing, time series analysis, or forecasting
