Teamcenter Functional Architect (PLM): Leading functional design, solution architecture, and adoption of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions for U.S. Department of Defense programs with an accent on digital thread strategy, business process translation, and enterprise integrations. Focus on designing scalable data models, workflows, custom extensions, and end-to-end processes integrating with ERP, MES, and supply chain systems.

Location: Remote or Hybrid (United States, St. Paul, MN). Must be U.S. Citizen able to obtain and maintain national security clearance.

Salary: 155,397 - 188,579 USD per year

What you will do

• Serve as trusted advisor to stakeholders, leading PLM strategy discussions and demos of Teamcenter capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and translate them into scalable Teamcenter designs including data models, workflows, and integrations.
• Design end-to-end business processes leveraging Siemens Xcelerator ecosystem with ERP, MES, ALM, and supply chain systems.
• Architect Teamcenter capabilities like BMIDE data models, ITK handlers, SOA services, workflow templates, custom actions, and reporting.
• Conduct testing, assist developers in resolving issues, develop documentation, provide training, and evangelize best practices.

Requirements

• Currently hold Siemens certifications for Teamcenter.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years with Siemens Teamcenter PLM; 3+ years in business process architecture, PLM consulting, or functional design.
• Strong Teamcenter configuration knowledge (workflows, lifecycle, security); programming in Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, HTML5.
• Experience with Active Workspace/Rich Client extensions, enterprise integrations, data migration; Agile environments.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder skills; ability to work independently/collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Teamcenter Dispatcher, batch utilities, installation/upgrades, databases (Oracle/SQL), CI/CD, AWS, Linux.
• Familiarity with aerospace/defense, DoD policies, RMF, CompTIA Security+.
