What you will do
- Develop and optimize generator interfaces and maintain signal fidelity for microvolt-level sensing signals.
- Apply grounding, shielding, and filtering best practices to mitigate noise and coupling effects.
- Design high-density interconnects and flex/rigid-flex circuits for catheter applications.
- Define electrical test requirements and perform bench testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Maintain design documentation including BOMs, specifications, and drawings according to quality systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support design transfer and resolve production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with 0 years).
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required (sponsorship not available for this level).
Nice to have
- Experience in embedded and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Exposure to medical devices, particularly catheter-based device design.
- Understanding of EMC design, test principles, and electrical modeling/simulation tools.
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles.
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and benchtop feasibility testing.
