Salary: $160,000 – $180,000

What you will do
- Provide independent second-line oversight and objective challenge for technology and cyber risk across all platforms and business units.
- Ensure compliance and provide assurance over the design and implementation of regulatory requirements set by the Bank of Canada.
- Lead and oversee technology and cyber risk assessments, including Change Initiative Risk Assessments (CIRAs) and Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).
- Monitor technology and cyber Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and oversee emerging areas like AI governance, cloud security, and third-party risk.
- Represent tech/cyber risk themes at governance forums and deliver executive-level reporting and insights to the Board.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in technology risk management, cyber risk, or ERM within financial services or payments.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada in a full-time capacity.
- Expertise in second-line risk functions, including independent challenge and the Three Lines of Defense model.
- Advanced knowledge of control frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and incident response.
- Experience engaging with regulatory bodies and leading enterprise-wide risk programs.
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and Board-level engagement.

- Professional designations such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
