Technology Risk Manager

Technology Risk Manager (Fintech): Development, implementation and oversight of technology risk programs for clearing broker and custodian services with an accent on vendor risk, controls assurance, metrics reporting, and risk culture promotion. Location: Flexible hybrid schedule at 483 Bay Street in Toronto until late 2026, then new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: $139,000 to $158,000 base + discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Design, implement and oversee vendor risk program to identify and manage risks associated with suppliers.
• Develop and manage technology risk identification, oversight programs, and controls assurance framework.
• Build technology risk metrics program, analyze data trends, and report to senior stakeholders and committees.
• Promote risk culture and awareness across FCC Technology Teams.
• Provide risk advisory services and independent challenges for effective risk treatment and transparency.
• Drive changes to FCC Technology policies, processes, procedures and systems for risk enablement.

Requirements

• University Degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in information technology risk management.
• Understanding of change management, change risk, SDLC, technology ecosystem, systems development and cybersecurity.
• Experience with Supplier/3rd Party Risk Management.
• Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CCSP, CISA or similar certification.
• Knowledge of financial services products, processes, and industry.
