Indigenous Legal, Compliance, Regulatory (LCR) Summer Intern (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada for the duration of the internship

Salary: $21/hour

What you will do

• Perform legal research and writing within both private practice and in-house settings.
• Complete a two-part rotation between Stikeman Elliott's Administrative Services Department and hirify.global's legal team.
• Gain a strong foundation in the administrative aspects of a business law practice.
• Collaborate with lawyers, articling students, and various business groups.
• Participate in professional development sessions and networking social events.

Requirements

• Identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit.
• Enrolled in or completed an accredited Canadian university undergraduate program as of May 2026.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada for the duration of the internship.
• Able to live in Toronto for the duration of the internship.
