Senior Cyber Security Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Senior Cyber Security Specialist (Cybersecurity): Implement and support cybersecurity standards including NIST and RMF for resilient defense systems with an accent on vulnerability scanning, IA documentation, and accreditation processes. Focus on performing security scans with tools like STIGs, ACAS, HBSS, responding to IAVAs, and collaborating with stakeholders to manage cybersecurity requirements.

Location: Hybrid preferred in St. Paul, MN (United States); fully remote considered with increased travel expectations (up to 10%, 1-2 times per month). Must be US Citizen, currently hold or eligible for active U.S. national security clearance.

Salary: 130,566 - 157,634 USD per year

What you will do

• Implement and support cybersecurity standards like NIST and RMF Assessment and Authorization.
• Develop system IA documentation for RMF accreditation via eMASS.
• Conduct regular security scans using STIGs, ACAS, CWE, CVE, HBSS and maintain records.
• Respond to IAVAs to address vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with system owners, government managers, and stakeholders on cybersecurity requirements.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• At least 5 years experience in cyber security or related discipline.
• Experience in Agile Scrum software development teams.
• Familiarity with cloud practices: containerization, orchestration, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• US Citizen eligible for and able to maintain U.S. national security clearance.

• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• ISSO / ISSM experience.
• CSWF IAM Level 3 Certification.
