What you will do

• Design and operate security controls for Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and the Microsoft 365 security stack.
• Implement Zero Trust architecture featuring identity-based access, continuous verification, and device trust controls.
• Lead vulnerability assessments and system hardening initiatives based on NIST, CIS, and PCI standards.
• Develop security automation scripts using PowerShell for system hardening and compliance validation.
• Evaluate and secure AI-enabled tools and workloads, including Microsoft Copilot deployments.
• Manage security incidents, maintain logging solutions like Splunk, and oversee PKI infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in systems administration.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with Microsoft technologies and security hardening.
• Expert knowledge of NIST frameworks, CIS benchmarks, and PCI standards.
• Proficiency in security automation using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or Security+.
• Azure-Entra/Microsoft certifications.
• ITIL certifications.
