What you will do

• Set and drive broad market software strategy to improve developer experience, reduce friction, and increase design-ins across wireless IoT portfolio.
• Own end-to-end developer experience including SDKs, tools, dev kits, documentation, training, and community enablement.
• Define and execute software launch readiness with complete enablement assets and ecosystem partnerships (cloud, RTOS, middleware).
• Lead BU-wide software prioritization and release planning across segments, representing unified view to Software PM and R&D.
• Monitor adoption metrics like time-to-first-build and net promoter score to inform continuous improvement.
• Partner cross-functionally with leadership, engineering, sales, and support to align roadmaps and implement prioritization frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related (or equivalent)
• 10+ years in IoT/wireless/embedded/semiconductors, including 5+ years in software product marketing or management
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, release management, and influencing roadmap trade-offs.
• Deep knowledge of wireless IoT technologies: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 802.15.4 (Zigbee/Thread/Matter), sub-GHz, edge compute.
• Exceptional communication to translate technical topics into decision-ready narratives.

Nice to have

• Hands-on embedded software development (connectivity stacks, SDKs, drivers).
• Experience improving developer experience for IoT SDKs and tools.
• Building scalable enablement for broad-market customers.
• Familiarity with IoT developer workflows, ecosystem integrations, and edge AI/ML.
