TL;DR

Regional Director, Independent Advisors (Northern California): Lead sales and relationship management for fee-only high net worth financial advisors with an accent on business development, client retention, and expanding assets under management. Focus on educating advisors on capital markets, investment theory, and Dimensional's sophisticated investment solutions while addressing practice-building challenges.

Location: Remote within Northern California territory or hybrid from Santa Monica office. SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required (SIE and Series 7 within first 12 weeks). Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Salary: $155,000 - $185,000 (bonus eligible)

What you will do

  • Manage sales leadership for a territory of fee-only high net worth financial advisors.
  • Develop strategies to expand, retain, and acquire new advisor relationships.
  • Educate advisors on capital market behavior, investment theory, and Dimensional's capabilities.
  • Consult with firms on efficient practice building and client investment experiences.
  • Present investment products, philosophy, and performance at conferences and industry events.
  • Increase revenues, AUM, and advisor clients through profitable growth of product suite.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Financial Services Industry; Bachelor’s Degree required (MBA or CFA preferred).
  • Strong consultative sales skills and network of fee-based financial advisors.
  • Deep knowledge of investments, capital markets, asset allocation, and Dimensional's philosophy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical investment topics.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with collaborative team-player mindset.
  • SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required.
