Salary Range: $107,770 - $127,000 CAD

What you will do

• Assist development teams in selecting technical frameworks, platforms, and design patterns.
• Develop solutions, model architecture, and create specifications for ETL, BI, and integration projects based on business requirements.
• Lead joint design sessions, identify requirements, analyze options, and gain consensus on data models and database designs.
• Provide technical leadership, own end-to-end solution design, validation tests, and best practices implementation.
• Conduct proof-of-concept tests for complex integration issues and support project management with technical planning and updates.
• Mentor junior developers and perform technical reviews to ensure correct implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years relevant project management experience; 2-3 years at senior level in healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare configurations (acute/core, ambulatory, reg/sched, pharmacy, financials).
• Demonstrable understanding of architecture principles, healthcare technology, and standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts) domain knowledge or experience with other EMRs (Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
