Salary: $157,400–$236,000 USD ($173,100–$259,700 USD in Seattle, WA).

What you will do

• Lead architecture and development of cloud-native Data and AI platform using Azure, Databricks Lakehouse, and Snowflake.
• Design API-first data platform for secure, governed sharing across teams, partners, and stakeholders.
• Operationalize GenAI solutions including RAG, OpenAI/Claude integration, and Azure AI Search for knowledge discovery.
• Implement data governance with Collibra, including cataloging, lineage, quality frameworks, and compliance.
• Build secure access patterns, observability, monitoring, and FinOps for performance and cost optimization.
• Develop lightweight applications for search, discovery, cataloging, and dataset onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or equivalent.
• 12+ years in platform/software engineering focused on analytics, AI/ML infrastructure, data security.
• Strong programming in Python, C#, .NET, SQL.
• Hands-on with Azure (Data Lake, ML, Event Hubs), Terraform IaC, Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog), Snowflake.
• API-driven platforms (REST/GraphQL), unstructured data processing, data pipelines (Databricks, DBT).
• Unrestricted US work authorization; no sponsorship (H-1B, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience with health/life sciences data analysis.
• RAG, embeddings, vector databases, document processing/NLP (OCR, entity extraction).
• Salesforce, Docker, Kubernetes.
