TL;DR
Field Service Technician (Electromechanical): Providing preventative and emergency maintenance for identity-centric security equipment with an accent on diagnosing and resolving electromechanical issues. Focus on calibrating sensors, replacing hardware components, and ensuring system reliability at customer sites.
Location: On-site in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a 3rd shift position (12:00 am – 8:00 am).
Salary: $22.68–$35.65 per hour

What you will do
- Perform high-quality preventative and emergency maintenance on equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in mechanical embossers, thermal image application, and chip data writing systems.
- Calibrate sensors, replace worn parts (motors, belts, bearings), and adjust software settings.
- Manage inventory using the ERP platform and respond to service calls via a dispatch system.
- Collaborate with customer operations staff to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of electromechanical technician experience.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills and comfort with PCs and current operating systems.
- Valid and active driver's license and ability to drive to multiple customer sites daily.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work a 3rd shift schedule.
- Willingness to be on-call and work overtime as needed.
Nice to have
- Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field.
- Experience with central issuance.
- Advanced technical education in electro-mechanics and digital electronics.
