Field Service Technician (Electromechanical)

TL;DR

Field Service Technician (Electromechanical): Providing preventative and emergency maintenance for identity-centric security equipment with an accent on diagnosing and resolving electromechanical issues. Focus on calibrating sensors, replacing hardware components, and ensuring system reliability at customer sites.

Location: On-site in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a 3rd shift position (12:00 am – 8:00 am).

Salary: $22.68–$35.65 per hour

What you will do

• Perform high-quality preventative and emergency maintenance on hirify.global equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in mechanical embossers, thermal image application, and chip data writing systems.
• Calibrate sensors, replace worn parts (motors, belts, bearings), and adjust software settings.
• Manage inventory using the ERP platform and respond to service calls via a dispatch system.
• Collaborate with customer operations staff to ensure equipment is in proper working order.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of electromechanical technician experience.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills and comfort with PCs and current operating systems.
• Valid and active driver's license and ability to drive to multiple customer sites daily.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work a 3rd shift schedule.
• Willingness to be on-call and work overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field.
• Experience with hirify.global central issuance.
• Advanced technical education in electro-mechanics and digital electronics.
