What you will do

• Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, positioning, and make/buy/partner decisions for optical engines including pluggable optics and coherent engines.
• Define market requirements, ROI analysis, and value propositions aligned with hirify.global’s systems and open network solutions.
• Engage with Tier 1/2 customers on roadmap, features, and custom needs while monitoring market trends and competition.
• Lead business cases, pricing, lifecycle management from concept to end-of-life, and on-time delivery with engineering.
• Collaborate with system PM, operations, supply chain, sales, and marketing on integration, cost optimization, and enablement.
• Build and mentor a high-performing product line management team establishing best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in optical networking, 5+ in product management or line leadership.
• Deep knowledge of optical engines, coherent optics (ZR/ZR+), pluggables, client optics, and DWDM systems.
• Proven P&L ownership and cross-functional leadership in matrix organizations.
• Strong customer-facing and executive communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with open networking, disaggregated systems, or SDN.
• Leadership in semiconductor/optic components businesses.
• Familiarity with service-provider models and global suppliers.
